Amber was born in Salt Lake City, Utah and her family relocated to Madison County, Virginia in 2001. She attended Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond and then spent 8 years in the San Francisco Bay Area of California. Amber developed a love for customer service and business management with 6 years as an Operations Manager at the Oakland Zoo and positions in customer service, supply chain and community management at various tech companies. She moved to Staunton in 2018 to be closer to family and lives here with her dog Yaga and cat Lama.
