Thomas spent 20 years in marketing research for small and mid-size companies before transitioning to accounting. He has served on the vestry of All Saints Anglican Church in Ivy and currently serves as a board member of the Waynesboro Rotary Club and as treasurer for the Virginia baroque ensemble Three Notch'd Road. Born and raised in Durham, NC, he now lives in Waynesboro with his wife and twin daughters.
